Discover the power of fasting for 24 hours or more and numerous health benefits!
Are you looking for a natural and effective way to boost your overall health, help prevent diseases, and even support your cancer treatment? If yes, you will love the benefits of a 24-hour fast!
Studies have shown that regular fasting may improve your overall well-being, strengthening your body’s resilience, and energizing your healthy cells.
With a 24-hour fast, you may achieve all of this and more.
Below are a few of the benefits of intermitted and long-term fasting.
Fasting is Great for Your Overall Health and Disease Prevention:
Fasting has been shown to promote various health benefits, including improved insulin sensitivity, weight management, and cellular repair processes.
By giving your digestive system a break, your body can focus on repairing damaged cells, reducing inflammation, and optimizing hormone levels.
This helps to prevent chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and even neurodegenerative conditions.
Fasting Can Be Effective in Cancer Treatment:
Recent research suggests that fasting can be a powerful adjuvant cancer treatment. Temporarily restricting your calorie intake creates a less favorable environment for cancer cells to thrive.
Fasting has also been found to support the effectiveness of chemotherapy while reducing side effects and may strengthen the body’s natural defense mechanisms against cancer cells.
Supplementation during Long-Term Fasts:
Supplementing with nutrients and water is a good idea if you decide on a longer fast.
Extended fasting periods, typically lasting more than 24 hours, can deplete vitamins and minerals as the body relies on its stores for sustenance. To address this, you should add some supplements.
Essential nutrients such as electrolytes, including potassium, magnesium, and sodium, are crucial for maintaining proper hydration, nerve function, and muscle contractions.
Supplementation with vitamins like B12, D, and iron can help prevent deficiencies and support vital bodily functions.
Potassium is essential for maintaining proper electrolyte balance and muscle function.
Opt for high-quality potassium citrate or electrolyte powder. During fasting, the body will decrease electrolyte levels.
Supplement with potassium or electrolyte powder to avoid potential imbalances and ensure adequate electrolyte intake. This will help replenish depleted mineral stores, promoting hydration, supporting muscle function, and preventing fatigue during your fasting period.
B vitamins are also vital for energy production and overall health.
Yeast flakes or pure niacin (BVit) can be excellent choices. Yeast flakes are a rich source of B vitamins, particularly B12, crucial for energy production, nerve function, and red blood cell formation. Pure niacin, a form of vitamin B3, supports cardiovascular health, helps metabolize fats, proteins, and carbohydrates, and contributes to overall cellular health.
Make sure you’re getting your daily multivitamin, or add a good wheatgrass brand to your diet. A multivitamin provides essential vitamins and minerals, supporting overall health and bridging potential nutritional gaps during your fasting period.
On the other hand, wheatgrass is a powerhouse of nutrients, including vitamins A, C, and E, iron, calcium, and magnesium. Adding a good brand of wheatgrass to one’s diet can provide a natural source of vital nutrients that support energy levels, immunity, and overall well-being during fasting.
Curcumin is the most important ingredient in turmeric. When you fast, your cells have time to repaid, clean and rejuvenate. This process is called autophagy. When you kickstart autophagy, your T-cell gets stronger and can fight inflammation, infections and cancer cells.
What you should know about melatonin and cancer:
Optimizing Oxidation in the Care of Chronically Ill Patients
For cancer patients, high-dose melatonin has shown promising potential in supporting cancer treatment by modulating immune function, inhibiting tumor growth, and reducing the side effects of chemotherapy.
Consult and integrative healthcare provider to determine the appropriate dosage for your needs.
During your fast, always choose pure supplements (no fillers)! This is crucial to prevent unwanted side effects. You have good and bad brands of supplements. Make sure you pick a good one! Very, very important!
Maintaining a daily calorie intake under 50 calories is considered fasting, so when hunger strikes, I make myself a bowl of grilled broccoli with sea salt so I don’t break my fast and feel less hungry.
By implementing a 24-hour fast and supplementing wisely, you can experience a transformation in your overall health and well-being.
Just remember, when starting a fast, you should supplement with clean, high-quality products and consult a healthcare professional if you have any concerns or specific health conditions.
Start your fasting journey today and notice the incredible benefits it can bring to your life.
- Potassium: I recommend the LMNT Electrolyte powder or choose pure filler-free potassium citrate.
B-Vitamins: I recommend Dr. Bergs Nutritional Yeast flakes or Nutritional Yeast Tablets or pure Niacin.
- Multivitamin: A natural way to get your daily vitamins is to take add Wheatgrass to your diet or opt for a good multivitamin
- Curcumin: I chose this Curcumin because of the added black pepper which is the activator of Curcumin.
- If you are a cancer patient, I would also add daily high-dose melatonin.(we use the 60 mg capsules.)
The vitamins you consume must be pure brands and have no fillers. (unless its fillers that are needed and pure, like black pepper) You need clean products to prevent unwanted and sometimes dangerous side effects.
Melatonin needs to be 100% Melatonin. Nothing else! If you get tired from taking melatonin in daylight, you are taking melatonin with fillers. They typically add other sleep aids to make it “more effective!”
Pure melatonin is only activated in darkness or red light.
